How to use Twitter

When you are logged in you can edit your personal Twitter Profile.
The profile information always appears on your public profile and in Twitter search results.

CREATE A TWEET
Visible for your followers
You can now write your first Twitter tweet which can have a maximum length of 140 characters.
Each Twitter tweet can contain Internet addresses (will be shortened) and photos.
You can write Twitter tweets to update your followers that your are online, doing a free show or showing your personal selfies.
In your new Twitter tweet you can also use hashtags or you can also write directly to one of your followers using @username
The more Twitter tweets you post the more exposure you will get and in time you will have a lot of followers.
GET YOUR TWITTER ACCOUNT
It’s free and easy
The first step is to register and confirm your Twitter account.
You can do this on www.twitter.com where you need to enter the following information:
- Your name (recommended to use performer name)
- Password
After the registration you will receive an confirmation email to activate your Twitter account.
EDIT YOUR PROFILE
Show the world you are on Twitter
Once you have registered your Twitter account it’s important to add it in your CamCtrl profile.
You can do this by editing your profile page and add your “Twitter account” in the Twitter field.
Now your Twitter account is visible on your profile page and in your chat room so our members can start following you.
WHAT ARE HASHTAGS?
Use keywords to get noticed
Twitter is using so called “hashtags” to be found under a specific keyword and it is therefore important to use them.
Hashtags are always displayed as: #keyword.
Example:
